1. How does trading/selling work?
All of our inventory comes from people like you trading and selling stuff they don't need anymore. Here's how it works:
Bring your stuff on by!
- Bring whatever items you have on by any day that we are open between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. No appointment necessary.
- We sort through them, see what we can use (items must be family-friendly and in good condition), then make you an offer.
- In-store trade is at least half of our price and can be used for anything at any time. Trade never expires.
- You may cash-out any portion of your trade balance at any time for half of its value ($40 trade credit = $20 in cash)
2. Do you only accept Christian materials?
- Books have to be family-friendly
- CDs and cassettes are mostly Christian
- Videos and DVDs rated G or PG
- Computer and console games rated E-T
- Penguins (under 5 feet tall)
When in doubt, bring whatever you have on by.
3. Can I return an item?
With receipt: Full refund for the amount paid within 30 days.4. Do you accept personal checks or credit cards?
Without receipt: Full value returned in trade within 30 days.
We accept cash, checks, credit and debit cards, (VISA, MasterCard or Discover), travelers checks, and gold bullion.
5. Can you order items for me?
Sorry, we don't special order items at this time.
6. Can I be put on a waiting list for items?
We get too many requests for a waiting list, but we don't mind you checking as often as you like.....or check our inventory on the website!
7. What if you have something I want, but I can't buy it right away?
If we have an item in stock, we can hold it for you through the end of the next business day. (Please note - our hold shelf is cleared the night prior to the kick-off of one of our semi-annual 40% Off Sales)
You can also hold items right here on the website! Just add your item(s) to your shopping cart, and then choose the "in-store pickup" option at checkout. A "pick-ticket" will be printed for us in the store.
Please note - we try to be as prompt as possible in fulfilling these requests, but pickup orders that are unusually large (more than about 10 items), or requests transmitted during business hours, can be delayed at times by the needs of customers in the store, and other factors.
8. Do you have layaway?
Yes! All items must be around $10 or greater (with a total value of $20 or higher), and a minimum of 20% deposit is required. There is no layaway fee, but we do require at least one payment per month. Discounts do not apply to layaways.
9. Do you have gift certificates?
Yes! Rather than paper certificates, we now offer gift cards, which you may purchase in any amount, up to $1,000,005.
10. Do you do mail orders?
Yes! We just need your: name, credit card number, mailing address, and phone number. Just let us know what you're looking for.
